Trinity Community Center
M-F 12pm to 6:30pm
Trinity Christian Community (TCC) was founded in 1967 by Rev. William “Bill” Brown in response to the organized church leaving the city. At a time when race relations were at their worst, Rev. Brown recognized that opportunities for African American, at-risk youth were largely nonexistent. He mobilized the church, recruiting volunteers to assist with the efforts and created unique programs for New Orlean’s youth. Since its founding in 1967, now Trinity Community Center, has grown to be a pivotal organization in the Hollygrove Neighborhood for youth and their families as they work to reach their fullest potential. The mission of TCC is to serve as the Hollygrove neighborhood's premier institution for transforming youth through educational support, mentoring and spiritual development.
