BOW Inc is a 501c(3) certified nonprofit organization dedicated to spreading awareness of domestic violence and helping survivors of domestic violence regain control of their lives. Our vision is to bring awareness to others in a way to understand and provide support to the victim. We strongly believe that every voice matters and every story counts...help us break the silence against domestic violence! B.O.W. for a new beginning. We never give up hope on ending domestic violence! Every day someone is faced with the challenge of deciding whether to stay in an abusive relationship or leave. Often times they stay and it results in death. It's time to bring an end to this and save our loved one's life.
Our mission is to empower, promote and support all survivors and their families. To support the victim, survivors, & their families who have been affected by domestic violence in any form. To educate the community on healthy relationships, to work with community partners to provide education, awareness, and services for the healing process of the abused one has encountered. To offer guidance to survivors to help build healthy relationships and help reduce the shame and guilt so they can build their interpersonal skills.
Our goal is to encourage and empower survivors by any means necessary including but not limited to our annual luncheons and other activities. We will work with other organizations to help provide hope and healing and rebuild families. We are committed to ending domestic violence by changing the current beliefs and institutions which encourage violence.Video Media

I affirm that from every wound there is a scar, and every scar tells a story…a story that says, “I survived”. I have published my first book ‘The Love You Promised Hurts Like Hell: Memoir of My Pain’. I am currently working on my second book.View Personal BioMs. Nydia S Wells-EvansNydia Shatanya Wells-Evans, a survivor of, as well as an advocate and public speaker for domestic violence.
