A wonderful and unique holiday film, PAPA NOEL: The Legacy of the Levee Bonfires, Documents a tradition steeped in rich history, folklore, food and fire. Audiences are treated to the stories shared by St. James Parish elders, and witness first hand the power of a community dedicated to supporting one another and upholding their long stranding tradition. PAPA NOEL: The Legacy of the Levee Bonfires has been airing in this region for the last three years on PBS. This year the film has a new 3 year agreement to take the film nationwide on PBS this holiday season.
