The Young Entrepreneurs Academy at the Tulane Innovation Institute introduces high school students to entrepreneurship through experiential learning. In this tuition-free after-school program, students explore idea generation, business model development, and the entrepreneurial mindset. The class culminates in a live pitch competition, where students can showcase their ventures, win funding, and practice their communication skills. Tulane Innovation Institute's Open Season pitch competition provides funding, education, and mentorship to aspiring entrepreneurs and is now open to applicants from the Tulane community and the greater New Orleans area. The program helps early-stage founders validate and launch their ideas, with $3,000 in funding available to support participants as they advance their early-stage ideas.
