$10,000 Scholarship for Louisiana Residents in Tulane's EMBA and PMBA Programs
New Orleans, La – Tulane's A. B. Freeman School of Business has introduced a $10,000 Louisiana Resident Scholarship Award for in-state professionals entering its Executive MBA or Professional MBA programs — a direct investment in the rising business leaders of the Greater New Orleans region and the companies that depend on them.
The award is applied automatically upon admission and stacks with employer tuition assistance and Freeman merit scholarships. For member companies supporting employee development, that makes a sponsorship budget go measurably further. Both programs are structured for professionals who intend to keep working.
Executive MBA — A 17-month cohort program for senior managers and executives, meeting in a hybrid weekend format that brings participants to campus roughly once a month. The curriculum focuses on strategic decision-making, data and AI fluency, and global strategy, including an international seminar and consulting project. Cohorts also gain small-group access to regional business leaders and to Tulane's 30,000-member business alumni network.
Professional MBA — A career-paced degree completed in two to three years, with weeknight evening classes on the Uptown campus and flexible hybrid options. Coursework emphasizes immediate workplace application through experiential programs such as Burkenroad Reports equity analysis.
The scholarship takes effect with the January 2027 start. Applications are currently being accepted.
