The Urban League of Louisiana is proud to present its inaugural Women’s Entrepreneurship Week (WEW) in celebration of Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (November 19). Women-owned businesses are the fastest growing segment of small businesses in the U.S. Across Louisiana, women entrepreneurs are starting and scaling businesses at record levels across various industries. Now more than ever, it is imperative that women-led businesses obtain the resources to build capacity, access capital, and scale their ventures through strategic partnerships and public and private contracting opportunities.
During WEW, the Urban League of Louisiana will celebrate women entrepreneurs from across Louisiana and provide opportunities for education, networking, and resources sharing.
In addition, WEW will feature the Hope2Women Summit hosted by the Association of Women’s Business Centers. Powered by the network of Women’s Business Centers across the United States, Hope2Women creates additional pathways for women entrepreneurs to access customized learning opportunities, expert coaching, peer networks, and other targeted programs needed to successfully start and grow their businesses.
Join us November 13-17 as we celebrate women entrepreneurs via digital storytelling, resources sharing, and special events.
