The Shapell Roster of Jewish Service in the American Civil War has released its Louisiana records, now available to explore online. These newly published findings illuminate the experiences of Jewish soldiers from Louisiana on both sides of the Civil War. Tune in to this virtual event to hear from senior Shapell Roster Researchers Alexandra Apito and Caitlin Winkler, who will share stories of service from the state that sent more soldiers to the conflict than any other in the South.
