As part of The Uproot Project's Journey of a Story series, this event celebrates New Orleans' vibrant food culture and the communities dedicated to food security, environmental justice, and sustainable agriculture. Discover how food can serve as a community-based climate solution while enjoying a delicious, locally sourced meal. The Journey of Food event is presented in partnership with Sprout. Sprout is an organization offering technical and social support to farmers, community gardeners, and farm workers to help build a stronger, more equipped community of growers in Louisiana and help New Orleanians be a part of a community food system.
