Join us for the in-person presentation Tuesday, March 31st at 8:30 am to learn how to stay out of trouble with the Federal Wage & Hour Division, including information on properly classifying employees as salaried exempt, legal pitfalls associated with classifying workers as “independent contractors”, and the latest on the One Big Beautiful Bill Act’s tax deductions for qualifying overtime and tips. Presenter Rachael Jeanfreau is a partner in the New Orleans office of Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson, L.L.P. practicing in the areas of labor and employment law and employee relations. Ms. Jeanfreau received her Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School, magna cum laude, in 2011 where she was a member of the Tulane Law Review.
