The New Orleans Metropolitan Association of REALTORS®? (NOMAR) and its Commercial Investment Division (CID) will host the 16th Annual Economic and Real Estate Forecast Symposium on Thursday, Oct. 8 at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center in Metairie. Presented by Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company, the symposium brings together industry leaders, economists and decision-makers to explore the trends, challenges and opportunities shaping the Greater New Orleans economy and real estate market. This year’s theme, “Building Market Momentum and Opportunity,” will feature discussions on the regional and national economy, economic development, interest rates, insurance and financing, affordability, emerging industries, commercial real estate trends and the growing impact of artificial intelligence and technology. The Forecast Symposium is open to the public and is designed for real estate professionals, developers, lenders, investors, business leaders, policymakers and anyone interested in the economic trends and real estate issues shaping the region.
