About Us

Chalmette Refining, owned by PBF Energy, is a major petroleum refinery in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana, with a daily processing capacity of over 185,000 barrels of crude oil. PBF Energy is investing heavily in the facility, retrofitting a hydrocracker to produce renewable diesel, and constructing a pretreatment unit to utilize non-fossil feedstocks. This project, supported by a $600 million capital investment, aims to make Chalmette a top producer of renewable diesel and create new jobs in the region.
