    About Us

The American Business Women’s Association is a national professional organization that focuses on recognition, education and empowerment. ABWA was founded in 1949, in the aftermath of World War II. Our mission is to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition. The Crescent City Connections Express Network was formed in the Spring of 2014 and officially chartered in October 2014. The chapter continues to grow, and currently boasts over fifty-five members. Monthly Luncheons are hosted on the second Thursday of each Month (11am-1pm) at Ralph Brennan’s Heritage Grill. Special events and conferences are also hosted throughout the year, including Equal Pay Day & Women’s Leadership Conference. For more information, contact Jodi Archer at 504-301-6100.
