    Every year, the Federal government purchases several billion dollars in supplies and services. Twenty-three percent of these government purchase contracts are allocated for small businesses. One of the best ways to gain access to these contracts is to have one of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) certifications such as 8(a), Woman-Owned Small Business, or HUBZone. The SBA’s Louisiana District Office will be joining us to explain the various certifications and their eligibility criteria.
