UPCOMING PERFORMANCES Thursday, May 20 Thursday, June 17 Thursday, July 15 Thursday, August 19 Thursday, September 16 Thursday, October 7 Public gathering spaces are a vital asset to New Orleans, and the Prime Example Jazz Club was no exception. As one of the few remaining true contemporary jazz clubs in New Orleans, the Prime Example was a champion of New Orleans jazz artists, and a space that fostered a sense of community. It was a space where young artists could learn the foundations of Black music, and one of the only spaces where you could hear modern jazz on a consistent basis. Performances are free and open to the public. Bring your chair or blanket to enjoy a socially distanced performance in our courtyard!
