On Sunday, June 9th, 2019, the Benjamin & Yancy Foundation, Incorporated will host its second annual Membership Mixer. The event will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Second Vine Wine, 1027 Touro St. (at St. Claude Avenue). Hosted by Wild Wayne of Q93, the event will feature live entertainment, healthy food demonstrations, door prizes, and more. Admission is free and open to the public, with a direct call of attendance to NOLA's elite philanthropists and caring Who Dats from the Divine 9, the Links, 100 Black Men, Zulu Club Members, Alumni & Affiliates of Gregory Junior High, McDonogh #35, Kennedy, John Mc, St. Aug, Xavier Prep, Clark, Cohen, and the Benjamin’s School of Dance & Fitness Center. The Benjamin & Yancy Foundation, Incorporated is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, dedicated to providing screening, therapeutic services and educational resources to those coping with Breast & Prostate Cancer. The ultimate mission of the Benjamin & Yancy Foundation is not only to provide various educational resources to Cancer patients and their caregivers, but to also encourage New Orleanians to educate themselves on the Cancer histories of their families. The Benjamin & Yancy Foundation is committed to being a catalyst for tangible change: in how Cancer patients in our community approach their fight against these diseases, by providing more knowledge and support, and funneling resources to the search for a cure for Breast and Prostate Cancer.
