Our topic is HOW TO PRACTICE GRATITUDE DURING DIFFICULT TIMES
Danielle McAllister is a Licensed Professional Counselor, owner of Hearts in Mind Counseling Services, as well as, the Student Success Coordinator at JCFA High School. Danielle has worked as a school counselor and administrator in schools for almost 10 years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Educational Psychology from Alcorn State University. Upon graduation she moved to New Orleans, Louisiana to attend Graduate school at Xavier University. While pursuing her Master’s in Counseling she began exploring her love for the arts by performing in local theater and films and volunteering with The Catch 22 Foundation. Danielle stays busy by being a wife and mother to three growing boys and giving back to the community through volunteering and mentorship. Her drive to help and serve others has led her to become involved in various organizations such as Nola Girls Night Out, the PLEASE Foundation, Sideline Pass Foundation, and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. Danielle believes in the importance of self-care and implementing a holistic practice of wellness through mind, body, and spirit.
