Matt Wolfe is Vice President of Brand and Marketing for Greater New Orleans, Inc. In this role, he oversees all print and digital materials for the organization and leads initiatives to brand the region as an ideal business location. These products include additional GNO, Inc. brands and large-scale events such as WorkNOLA, Coalition for Sustainable Flood Insurance, EVERLAB, Reform for Louisiana’s Future, GNO Career Guide, Destination GNO, and Emerge Summit.
Matt’s work targets companies for relocation to the Greater New Orleans market, including the successful attraction of DXC Technology, GE Digital, British Airways, and more than 80 additional organizations since 2011.
Matt also engages in business development projects by meeting with focused technology companies and enticing national and global conferences to the region, including the successful attraction of Accruent, Collision conference, inXile Entertainment, and iMerit. His extensive experience in technology products also led to his appointment on the Super Bowl XLVII Host Committee.
Prior to his marketing role, Matt spent more than 11 years in traditional journalism newsrooms, with experience in broadcast television and print publications. During his time as a multimedia editor, Matt was the recipient of numerous industry and company awards, including a multi-year Innovation award for the digital transformation of a print newsroom.
Matt’s work in communications for GNO, Inc. has yielded 450+ annual mentions in publications such as Forbes, the Wall Street Journal, and The Economist, in addition to more than 150 earned national rankings for the region. Matt also served on the Katrina 10 Anniversary Media Team, TEDxNewOrleans Planning Committee, NBA All-Star Game Communications Committee, and Tricentennial Media Committee.
He is a Crescent City native and lives in Lakeview with his wife, two dogs, and cat.
