Green Initiative Seminars
Building an increased consumer interest in companies with good sustainability practices, the Chamber developed a Green Initiative with LifeCity New Orleans. Its goal is to help existing businesses in the area develop and formalize their sustainability strategies. Additionally the group seeks to raise the local, regional and national profile and support of green commerce, thereby helping businesses connect to green consumers. This initiative offers a monthly educational series with the Green Seminar/Impact Economy Seminar. Focusing on sectors covering topics from the hospitality industry, education, manufactoring and more.
