The online membership directory at www.neworleanschamber.org provides a virtual profile for each member complete with maps, and direct website links. Because the Chamber receives many referral requests, this is a valuable marketing tool that is completely free for members!
Community Guide & Membership Directory
Every year the Chamber produces a directory with the most recent business and quality of life information. The directory also includes complete alphabetical and categorical listings of every Chamber business. The publication is a great reference tool for members, area newcomers, and businesses.
By sponsoring a Chamber event a member business receives high amount of visibility in the local community. Sponsorship names and logos are included on all event marketing materials, social media outlets, and pre-event e-blasts sent to over 7,500 people.
Every day the Chamber receives requests for business recommendations. This includes local businesses and residents looking for quality products and services, as well as tourists wanting recommendations on what to do and where to stay in New Orleans. The Chamber serves as your agent for new customers and business, for information on upcoming government bids and economic development projects.
Grand Openings/Ribbon Cuttings
If you are opening a new business or holding a grand opening, the Chamber can assist by promoting your event on our calendar and social media outlets, and offering use of its over-sized ceremonial golden scissors. Board Members, Chamber staff, or volunteers from the Chamber’s Ambassadors Committee will attend to welcome you to the city and the Chamber of Commerce.
A feature on the New Orleans Chamber website allows members to submit specials they want to promote. It is another chance to put a spotlight on the products and services your company offers.
Free Facilities & Special Offers
Use of Downtown Chamber Facilities
As a member, you may use our office facilities during normal business hours up to 3 hours once a week, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This will allow you to schedule your meetings downtown and make it more convenient to do business with your clients and provide more privacy for your employees. Just call the receptionist at the Chamber and reserve it as needed. The room can accommodate up to 10 people with comfortable, ergonomic seating.
