Wired for Impact: A Media Mixer & Scholarship Reception

In alignment with Xavier University of Louisiana’s Centennial, this event aims to reconnect with alumni of the Mass Communication Department Scheduled for November 6 at Propeller located at 4035 Washington Ave, Wired for Impact: A Media Mixer & Scholarship Reception, is designed to curate meaningful dialogue with past and present through a panel discussion and a reception to follow. There will be light refreshments, music and a program to highlight the notable alumni from the department. Attendees will have the space to share experiences, career advice and explore internship and job opportunities. Proceeds from this mixer will support a newly established scholarship for a current Mass Communication student—offering financial assistance and encouragement to the next generation of storytellers, journalists, and communicators emerging from the Mass Communication departments home in Xavier South. Through this initiative, we aim to honor our collective legacy while paving the way forward for those who will continue to shape the narrative.
