OCD Louisiana invites all members of the community to attend the One Million Steps For OCD Walk on Sunday, October 8 at Washington Square in New Orleans. Help us raise awareness, funds, and hope! Step out and speak up at this much-loved event where we can connect with others and educate our communities about what it really means to have OCD or a related disorder (e.g. body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), hoarding disorder, and body-focused repetitive disorders). Free to participate, but please register in advance to start fundraising! iocdf.org/neworleanswalk All funds raised will support programming of OCD Louisiana and the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). These programs aim to drive change through advocacy, education, research, and resources that improve the lives of those living with OCD and related disorders. Check in is @ 9:30AM at Washington Square (700 Elysian Fields Ave) in New Orleans. Washington Square is a dog friendly, shaded, historic park with a playground in the Marigny. 2023 OCD Walk T-shirts available at check-in for all children 12 and under and walkers age 13 and up who raise $25 or more. The Walk Route is between 1 - 2 miles and we will also have "Why I Walk" and superhero photo stations, Awards ceremony, and Raffle. Can't participate, but want to help? Consider making a donation on the New Orleans OCD Walk page: iocdf.org/neworleanswalk
