Join us for BGR’s 2026 Annual Luncheon as we explore lessons from Oklahoma City’s remarkable transformation and what they could mean for New Orleans. This year’s speaker is David Holt, Mayor of Oklahoma City and Immediate Past President of the U.S. Conference of Mayors.
Under Mayor Holt’s leadership, OKC has risen from the nation’s 27th-largest city to the 21st-largest, backed by billions in voter-approved investments and a nationally recognized approach to civic leadership and community building.
As New Orleans looks to its future, Mayor Holt will discuss how Oklahoma City moved from a city often overlooked nationally to one frequently cited as a model for growth and civic ambition.
BGR’s presentation of David Holt is part of the Janet Howard Speaker Series in Governmental Research.
