    Job Description
    Role:
    To assist members with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments. To greet members, ascertain their reason for the branch visit, and guide them to the Video Service Department.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
    ? Receive and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sells money orders to members; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed. Cross-sell or refer Xplore’s products and services to members.
    ? Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records.
    ? Welcome members and provides routine information concerning services and refers and directs members to appropriate department for specific information and service.
    ? Balance cash drawer and daily transactions.
    ? Perform a variety of miscellaneous tasks including filing, computer input and answering the telephone.
    ? Adheres to all credit union policies and procedures as set forth in credit union manuals ? Maintain member confidentiality of information
    ? Vault and ATM responsibilities as assigned
    ? Compliance with Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC and USA PATRIOT Act including accurate completion of CTR, Monetary Instrument log, and reporting of suspicious activities to the compliance department.
    ? Greet members, ascertain their reason for the visit and guide them to the Video Service Department as necessary
    ? Other duties as assigned.

    Performance Measurements:
    1. To provide friendly, professional, personal service to all members.
    2. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of Share Branching Policy
    3. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of credit union polices & compliance; understand compliance issues and attend training as it relates to the position, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act.
    4. To balance within the guidelines and Teller Procedures of Xplore FCU.
    5. Reach teller referral goals
    6. To have no more posting errors than provided in the matrix guideline.
    7. Maintain 100% on SBA shops.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    Experience: Up to six months of similar or related experience.

    Education: A high school education or GED.

    Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.
