DESCRIPTION:The Y'Allstars Southern Skate Showdown is a 3-day roller derby tournament that will be held the weekend after Mardi Gras in Thibodaux\, Louisiana!\n\nY'Allstars will feature 2 local teams as competitors and event hosts: Red Stick Roller Derby Juniors\, a Baton Rouge-based kids' team\, and Team Louisiana Roller Derby\, Louisiana's very own statewide all-star team. The tournament will draw in more than a dozen top-tier teams from across the country\, making it the largest roller derby tournament ever held in Louisiana!\n\nThe event will divide teams into 3 divisions: Women's\, Open\, and Juniors (aka kids). All adult teams are "collective teams" (aka pro bowl-style super teams) that represent a larger geography\, diaspora\, or other commonality.
