Join the Junior League of New Orleans (JLNO) at \;Touch a Truck\, a unique experience that gives children and their families an up-close look at their favorite &ldquo\;big trucks&rdquo\; and the opportunity to meet the people that protect\, serve\, and build Metropolitan New Orleans.
\n\nTouch a Truck will be held on Friday\, November 1\, 2019 for local schools and Saturday\, November 2\, 2019 for all from 10 am to 4 pm at Pontchartrain Center (4545 Williams Blvd. in Kenner).
\n\nWe will be offering a &ldquo\;Quiet Time&rdquo\; on Saturday from 1 pm to 3 pm. The vehicles will not be permitted to run their sirens\, lights\, or horns during that period. If your child would prefer this environment to explore the event\, plan to arrive during this time.
\n\nOnline early bird tickets: \;Individual tickets are $10\, and Family Packs of 5 tickets are $40.
\n\nDay of: Individual tickets are $15\, and Family Packs of 5 tickets are $60. We accept cash and credit cards.
\n\nChildren under 12 months get into the event for free.
\n\nShipping is not included. Tickets may be picked up November 2\, 2019 (day of event &ldquo\;will call&rdquo\;) at the Pontchartrain Center.
\n\nIn addition to public ticket sales\, JLNO&rsquo\;s Field Trip Friday program grants free entrance to students at under-served area schools. Your school is invited to apply to be a Field Trip Friday attendee on Friday\, November 1st. \;Please email \;touchatruck@jlno.org \;to apply.
