DESCRIPTION:New Orleans Women & Children's Shelter invites the community out to a enjoy dinner and a show\, with proceeds helping the Shelter transition homeless families from poverty to self-sustainability. Guests will view the riotously funny New Orleans holiday musical\, "Mandatory Merriment." Patron dinner guests will also be treated to three courses by notable New Orleans chefs Theresa Galli and Gavin Cady of The Fat Falafel\, Kristen Essig and Michael Stoltzfus of Coquette New Orleans and Ruby Bloch of Salt & Light Pastry Co. There will be dessert and wine for all because that is the merry thing to do! The event is sponsored by Ashley Longshore and hosted by couples: Colleen and Allen Kirkley\, Lisa and David Schlakman\, Jackie and Dan Silverman as well as Kathleen and Robert Zetzmann. All proceeds benefit the New Orleans Women & Children's Shelter.
