DESCRIPTION:District C Candidates to Speak at Algiers Forum WHO: District C Candidates WHAT: Public Forum WHEN: 6 p.m.\, Tuesday\, November 2 WHERE: Aurora Methodist Church\, 3300 Eton Street Candidates for District C of the New Orleans City Council will speak to potential voters at a forum presented by Algiers Neighborhood Presidents' Council and Old Algiers Main Street Corporation on Monday. The forum will be held at 6 p.m.\, at Aurora Methodist Church\, 3300 Eton Street. This is the only District C candidate forum to be held in Algiers for the election scheduled for Nov. 13. Candidates Stephanie Bridges\, Freddie King III\, Alonzo Knox\, Vincent Milligan\, Stephen Mosgrove\, Frank Perez and Barbara Waiters have been invited to speak. The format will include opening statements by each candidate\, questions and answers\, and closing statements. The public is invited to attend. For more information contact Yvonne Mitchell-Grubb\, 504-258-1947. This is the ONLY District C Forum in Algiers\, which is the largest section of the district. Mask mandate has been lifted as of October 29\, so the forum will not require masks.
