DESCRIPTION:Dining by Design Returns to BK House in Bicentennial Year\n\nElaborate Table Settings & D cor Grace BK House Interiors\n\n\n\nBack by popular demand\, Historic BK House & Gardens will present \n\nDining by Design on Sunday\, May 17\, from 5:30-8:30 pm throughout the \n\nMuseum site encompassing the Parterre Garden\, Courtyard\, and French \n\nQuarter home built in 1826.\n\n\n\nThe event will showcase imaginative tablescapes and florals created by \n\nmore than a dozen New Orleans designers and tastemakers\, including \n\nChad Graci\, Keith Carroll\, Maria Wink Meyers\, Kim Starr Wise\, Vesta \n\nFort\, Rebecca Singley and others. Accompanied by exceptional cuisine \n\nfrom Pigeon Catering & Events\, libations\, and music by violinist Abraham \n\nSantos Fernandez\, Dining by Design celebrates 200 years of style\, stories\,\n\nand sophistication.\n\n\n\nSponsored in part by Element and Pigeon Catering & Events\, Dining by \n\nDesign 2026 is co-chaired by Randle Looney and Colleen Conner. \n\nProceeds will support the preservation and restoration of BK's art\, textiles\, \n\nand ephemera.\n\n\n\nA complete list of designers will be available in coming weeks.\n\nSponsorships range from $1\,000-$5\,000 and should be confirmed by May \n\n8. Programming has \n\nevolved in the last several years to focus on the seven families who lived on the property\, as \n\nwell as the influences of the French Quarter neighborhood. An on-going interpretative \n\nprogram is underway to better reflect the heritage of the site. Membership\, events\, grants\, \n\ndonations\, and fundraising activities generate revenue needed for ongoing restoration and \n\nongoing capital improvement projects.
