We have recently partnered with Tipitina's\, one of New Orleans' most iconic music venues! We have trained their staff how to respond to emergency situations\, how to perform CPR and how to use an AED. Additionally\, Heartbeat NOLA has donated an AED to Tipitina's which is strategically placed for public access. This event is also an opportunity for Tipitina's to "pay it forward" as part of our strategic plan that includes AED recipients becoming involved in the process of placing the next AED. It is here at Tipitina's that we will be hosting our First Annual Fundraising Event. Our Grateful Heart Celebration will be Sunday\, Dec. 1 from 4:00 7:00 PM. \n\n\n\nThis event\, however\, will be so much more than just your basic fundraiser. It will be the official album release of Maurice Trosclair's first solo album\, "Grateful" by Miracle Meaux. All songs have been inspired by Maurice's experience as a Sudden Cardiac Death Survivor. This inspirational music with a mission will be brought to life by a myriad of amazing local musicians who will perform live\, songs from the album. Also featured will be a performance by local favorite\, Funk Monkey.
