Transmedia LLC and Performance First Digital LLC enter into a Contract with the Port of New Orleans to Manage Cruise Terminal Advertising
Under a joint venture, Transmedia LLC and Performance First Digital LLC have been awarded the advertising concession contract to sell and manage advertising placement at the Port of New Orleans.
The Port of New Orleans is home to both the Erato St. and Julia St. terminals from which Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Breakaway, Crystal Cruises and Disney sail during various times of the year.
Transmedia LLC is owned by Michelle Gobert and Performance First Digital is owned by Krista Pouncy-Dyson. Together the concession grants them exclusive rights to operate static and digital bill-board advertising and deploy innovative advertising marketing solutions that feature the latest generation of mobile geo-fencing digital technology.
“Having the Port of New Orleans select our proposal and agree to work with us to develop their program from the ground up is a dream come true,” Gobert said. “Krista and I are both elated to be working together to build a first-class advertising program at the Port of New Orleans.”
Dyson is a strategic and innovative senior digital media executive with experience in creating new media revenue opportunities for major multimedia organizations. She has been in the online digital space for 20 years helping hundreds of business owners achieve their marketing
objectives. Dyson rose to the ranks of senior leadership at Nola Media Group, NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune, before leaving in 2016 to establish Performance First Digital. Dyson is an active board member of several local and state chambers and is the 2019 vice-chairwoman of the New Orleans Regional Black Chamber of Commerce.
“I have spent my entire career helping businesses grow by utilizing strategic marketing solutions,” Dyson said. “Having the ability to combine out of home advertising with digital mobile device geo-fencing, is a game-changer for local businesses and gives them the ability to attract even more customers to their physical locations. I am passionate about helping businesses succeed. I am excited to be a part of this project.”
As a small business owner, Gobert has more than 25 years of experience in the ever-evolving large format printing industry. She has served as the president, owner, and operator of image360 formerly Signs Now since 1990. Gobert began the consulting and advertising sales company, TransMedia, LLC, in 2014 to meet the evolving demands of her growing role in managing advertising sales and production at the New Orleans and Baton Rouge airports, in partnership with Clear Channel Airports.
“Clear Channel Airports afforded me every opportunity to grow within their system and mentored me without me realizing how valuable the skills and processes they trained me on would become,” Gobert said. “To now utilize the experience gained working with Clear Channel Airports is a positive outcome from the DBE program.”
Gobert and Dyson are graduates of Xavier University of Louisiana as well as the Goldman Sachs 10K Small Business program.
They will also be entering the New Orleans Business Alliance Ascend 20/20 program sponsored by J.P. Morgan Chase next month.
