• New Orleans Chamber Announces Virtual Women's Leadership Conference

    The New Orleans Chamber signature conference was postponed due to COVID-19. The conference has been rescheduled to be held over multiple days on a virtual platform.
    NEW ORLEANS, LA – The New Orleans Chamber of Commerce has rescheduled its annual event, POWER UP: Women’s Leadership Conference, to be held virtually this August. Sponsored by Fidelity Bank P.O.W.E.R.,the conference was originally planned as a full day of professional development for men and women, including a keynote luncheon and multiple breakout sessions hosted by network partners. The conference will now span over a week, from August 3rd – 7th, and will include all key aspects of its original format.
    Sixteen network partner organizations will virtually host one breakout session each, and recordings will be made available so attendees can access all sessions. Keynote luncheon speaker, Johanne R. Bélanger, will give her presentation live on Friday, August 7th, and all registered participants will receive a lunch delivered to their home or office.
    “We are working with an audio visual production company to ensure this conference is interactive, entertaining, and everything it would be in person,” said Sandra Lindquist, New Orleans Chamber Vice President and COO. “We expect it be to a phenomenal source of networking and education for all participants.”
    All individuals who registered for the conference on its original date in March will be automatically registered for the virtual conference.
