About
Founded in 2008, College Track New Orleans is a college completion, non-profit organization with a mission to empower students from underserved communities to graduate from college. College Track New Orleans currently serves over 300 high school and college students. Offering a 10-year commitment to our students, College Track New Orleans actively engages students in their 9th grade year and supports them through college graduation. Our holistic approach of student success is achieved through four interconnected areas:
Academic Affairs: Provides comprehensive academic services such as tutoring, ACT preparation courses, academic workshops, and academic advising starting the summer before students’ 9th grade year;
College Completion: Guides students and families in all aspects of college admissions and support with college scholarships. Provides college students with social-emotional and financial assistance to ensure they remain enrolled in college; and,
Student Life: Offers students with opportunities and tools to explore their passions and constructively engage in their communities.
Over the course of our high school program, this support amounts to the equivalent of an extra year of high school.
