Oct 1 - Oct 2 Helping Hands Benefit Relief Concert @Three Keys at The Ace Hotel New Orleans
This Friday, October 1, 2021, Ace Hotel New Orleans, and their live music venue Three Keys will be hosting Helping Hand, a benefit concert for Hurricane Ida relief in which 100% of ticket sales will go to Culture Aid, a NOLA-based organization that provides fresh meals to those in need. With a stellar lineup representing New Orleans music from funk to Jazz, the benefit show will be headlined by funk group Water Seed, with performances by Big Sam and Bo Dollis Jr. and The Wild Magnolias. Tickets start at $45 for entry, with a second tier available for those looking to up their donation to $100, which will include two drinks and a snack on Three Keys. Doors for Helping Hand will open at 7pm, and tickets can be purchased here.

The cycle must be broken, and it starts with people who care. We can make a difference. First, to bring awareness to you that domestic violence is real, traumatic, and sometimes deadly. Second, we need to raise funds to assist these victims in beginning a new life free from violence. Our speakers for the afternoon are survivors of domestic violence. Dr. Ivan Misner is the Founder & Chief Visionary Officer of BNI, the world’s largest business networking organization.  Founded in 1985 the organization now has over 10,100 chapters throughout every populated continent of the world.  Last year alone, BNI generated 11.5 million referrals resulting in more than $16.2 billion dollars worth of business for its members.

Dr. Misner’s Ph.D. is from the University of Southern California.  He is a New York Times Bestselling author who has written 26 books including one of his latest books – Who’s in Your Room? He is also a columnist for Entrepreneur.com and has been a university professor as well as a member of the Board of Trustees for the University of La Verne.

Called the “Father of Modern Networking” by both Forbes and CNN, Dr. Misner is considered to be one of the world’s leading experts on business networking and has been a keynote speaker for major corporations and associations throughout the world.  He has been featured in the L.A. Times, Wall Street Journal, and New York Times, as well as numerous TV and radio shows including CNN, the BBC, and The Today Show on NBC.

Among his many awards, he has been named “Humanitarian of the Year” by the Red Cross and has been the recipient of the John C. Maxwell Leadership Award.  He is proud that he and his late wife, Elisabeth, are the Co-Founders of the BNI Charitable Foundation. We’re excited to announce the First Tee’s 5th Annual Ladies at Loft18 Sponsored by Fidelity Bank P.O.W.E.R. will be hosted on Tuesday, November 23rd at Loft18. This year’s Ladies at Loft18 event will consist of two separate opportunities to join us and meet and play alongside our First Tee female participants.

In the morning, we’ll host scramble golf tournament with breakfast and registration starting at 8:30am, followed by an 9:00am tee time in Loft18’s golf simulator booths. Teams will consist of foursomes paired with a female participant from the First Tee program competing against another team in a 9- hole format playing Pebble Beach Golf Course! For our afternoon event, attendees will join us for lunch, networking and Keynote Speaker panel at Noon.
