Mr. John Landrum is a long-term executive with Intralox, a division of Laitram LLC. John has seen first hand how important it is for non-family managers and executives to understand that there is room and opportunity to grow and excel within the complexity of a family business. John asserts that a company has to be intentional in its efforts to cultivate a workplace where family and non-family employees can engage, share ideas and be rewarded on merit. He will share how Laitram has effectively done this and what they have learned from this process as a company. John is the Vice-President of Innovation at Intralox. Also as a part of this special presentation, there will be a guest panel of current non-family executives who will share their personal experiences in working family businesses. The panel will include: Glenn Vice, President of J.M. Burguieres Co.; Christopher Williams, Director of Administration and Employee Development at Barriere Construction; and Karen McLauglin, Vice-President of Human Resources at Neill Corporation.
