The Ernest N. Morial New Orleans Exhibition Hall Authority (“the Authority”) is a political subdivision of the State of Louisiana. New Orleans Public Facility Management, Inc. (“NOPFMI”) is a quasi-public body that is charged with the responsibility of managing the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center-New Orleans (“ENMCCNO”) on a day-to-day basis. The Authority is requesting sealed Bids for Furnish and Install Food & Beverage Equipment in Kitchen 2. Sealed Bids will be received at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Contract Division, Mezzanine Level, Hall B; 900 Convention Center Boulevard, New Orleans, LA 70130 or may be submitted electronically at www.exhallnola.com until Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 9:30 a.m., at which time bids received on time and in the correct location will be considered for contract award. Bids will not be accepted after said time and date. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. in the Contracts Conference Room, located on the 1st floor of the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in Lobby of Hall B. Specifications and Bid documents may be obtained online at www.exhallnola.com or by contacting the Contracts Department at (504) 582-3562. Bidders may obtain specifications and Bid documents from Contracts Department in person, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, holidays not included; by email (contracts@mccno.com), by first class mail, or by courier services. In employing first class mail or by courier service, Bidders must arrange directly with the courier for pickup, delivery, and payment of all associated costs.
The Successful Bidder shall furnish a good and solvent Performance Bond acceptable to the Owner in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the amount of the Contract Sum awarded for the faithful performance of its duties. The Successful Bidder shall also furnish a Labor and Material Payment Bond with a good, solvent, and sufficient surety acceptable to the Owner in an amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Sum awarded for the payment by the Contractor to claimants. A contract shall be awarded to the Bidder whose Bid Price is complete and responsive to all terms and conditions outlined in the Bid Documents, without discrimination on grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin. Bidders are advised that request for copies of the Bid Documents shall not be accepted within two (2) calendar days prior to the Bid opening date indicated above.
