Leading into New Orleans’s 300th year, the soon-to-unveil B on Canal seeks to create jobs and contribute to the local economy by hosting its first career fair. B on Canal was first introduced earlier this year by national lifestyle brand B Hotels & Resorts®, announcing its opening for Q1 of 2018 after an extensive renovation.
This historic property is located on 1300 Canal Street, in the bustling central business and theater district, near Mercedes-Benz Superdome, Tulane Medical Center, the Bio District, and within walking distance to the French Quarter.
B on Canal is managed by Performance Hospitality Management (PHM), the hotel and resort management company for B Hotels & Resorts and will oversee the hiring process. During the career fair, B on Canal will be looking to fill nearly 100 full-time, part-time and seasonal positions including but not limited to Chief Engineer, Guest Services Supervisor, Sales Manager, Hotel Maintenance, Housekeeping, Director of Revenue Management, Front Desk Agent, Human Resources/Accounting Coordinator, Room Attendant and more. Potential candidates will have an opportunity to meet the team and learn about the brand’s mission, vision, DNA and the management company.

B on Canal will offer guests an unparalleled experience featuring all new guest rooms and suites, a reconfigured lobby, and more than 1,600 sq. ft. of banquet/meeting space. Food and beverage services will include event catering, room service and a signature restaurant and bar with a private dining room, creating a local destination for the community.
